About

The wares created at NIMA Pottery focus on functional and mi-NIMA-list forms and textures for your table, kitchen and home.

Whether at home or in a restaurant, NIMA Pottery designs pieces that home cooks, food lovers, chefs or restaurant goers alike will want to use every single day for food prep, cooking and enjoying a meal.

Sally, the maker and potter behind NIMA Pottery, worked in the food industry in her early twenties and has always loved cooking, eating and spending time in between a table of loved ones and the kitchen.

Fast forward to 2022, and, after taking a 2-hour pottery intro class in Washington, DC, she fell in love with the craft. Since then, she has taken classes at various local studios. As a result of craving more studio space and experimentation time, she (and her now-husband, thanks Anthony!) re-worked the shed in the backyard to create a beautiful pottery studio, from which NIMA Pottery operates.
